AI shorts: split the work into three jobs
"AI shorts" covers three different jobs. BAEKIT Studio handles one of them, generating new 9:16 vertical shots. Clipping long videos, adding captions and posting all happen outside, in your editor and on the platform.

Three different jobs
| Job | What it means | BAEKIT Studio |
|---|---|---|
| 9:16 generated shots | New vertical scenes from a prompt or image | Yes |
| Long video clipping | Cutting segments out of existing footage | No, use an editor |
| Finished short | Joins, captions, music, upload | You edit and post |
Vertical shot workflow
- 1. Script 15 to 30 seconds as a list of 3 to 5 second shots.
- 2. Pick 9:16 and keep the subject upper center. Leave the bottom third clear for captions.
- 3. Block each shot as an image first. Nano Banana 2.1 starts at 11 BP.
- 4. Animate the picks. Wan 3.0 at 720p for 5 s is 150 BP; Seedance 2.5 is 350 BP.
- 5. Download, cut together, add captions and music, and upload yourself.
Example prompt
"vertical frame, rainy night outside a corner store, a person with an umbrella walks into frame center, neon reflections, locked camera, bottom third is dark pavement"
Don't ask the model for on-screen text. It tends to garble, so captions belong in the edit.
Failure, retry and rights checklist
- Subject cropped: add "vertical composition, full body in frame" and fix it at the image step.
- Character changes between shots: reuse the same reference image. Expect small differences anyway.
- Stray text or logos appear: discard and regenerate that shot.
- Clipping source footage needs permission from its rights holder.
- Use music and sound effects you have the rights to.
